General Yamaha have designed this Tour Custom snare drum to be as versatile as possible. Safe to say, they've succeed and have basically created the ideal snare drum for modern drummers, especially because they're generally expected to be able to play a little bit of everything these days. The shell of this snare drum is made entirely of maple and consists of six plies for a total thickness of 5.6 mm, while a 45-degree bearing edge, 2.3 mm Inversa Dyna Hoops, Absolute Cast Lugs and Remo Ambassador drum heads ensure that the snare effortlessly projects a bright, varied sound supported by a huge dynamic and tuning range. For the finish, the shell is coated in tasty Licorice Satin.
